So glad to be back! Although I haven't been gone anywhere, I have been away from my computer. But not by choice. We live in a very small town with a family owned phone company. We have limited access and when our computer goes down, we have to wait until someone comes into the office to check it out. Very Green Acres like.
Saturday I did go to a Estate sale and was transformed into the 70's. Complete with flocked wall paper and a heart shaped sunkin blue bath tub. Chandeliers all over and mirrored walls. I loved the trip through memory lane. But it was too rich for my blood. I did get a few sheets of the left over blue flock wall paper. And a box of doves. I think I see a Christmas project for these two items. I had to pre register on Monday and had to wait for 3 hours for blood work, so I didn't get to the thrift stores, like I wanted to. It has been sooo hot in Alabama the last few weeks that it is impossible to stay outside without having a heat stroke. I watered the flowers in front of the shop this morning and thought I was going to pass out. Our pool water is so hot it is like getting in a warm bath. I am ready for some rain.
We did have a tradegy this weekend. Our cat used up her 9 lives. This is the cat that came up after our old dog went off and died of old age. We didn't even name her, we just called her cat. She has been with us now for about 6 years. She will be missed.

Ohhhhh, you didn't tell me about the cat dying. So sorry about that. Goodbye old kitty cat.

I'm sorry about the cat! How sad.

The blue flocked paper sounds so cool - can't wait to see what Jerri magic you work with it.

And HOT is right. I took the kids to the beach and the heat was awful. Not enough wind blwing to make things pleasant.

I know right where you are coming from about the telephone service and Green Acres. The road right behind me has DSL and I can't get it. I still for the life of me cant figure out how they can do heart transplants, send men to the moon and I can't get DSL.. I still have two tin cans and a string for a phone service!!
