I was sent this e-mail and thought it needed to be read.
So read on my half of dozen blog followers,
It will make you smile.

A few things about me
_____________________
I look like this in most picture. I am shocked someone took a pic of me.

I love a good joke. When Farrah got to heaven last week, GOD commented on how good she had been and granted her one wish......." I want all the children of the world to be safe"!

News flash....Michael Jackson Dead!

One of my favorite thing.....my air conditioner.

I am reading...The Beach House by James Patterson.

In my house, this morning I hear....silence ...except for the dryer buzzz.

Color....I am really liking this lime green. But red is still my fav.

What inspired me... the blogs i look at each morning, give me inspiration to create each day. It dictates my mood and choice of job for the day.

What's going through my head lately......I am trying to study for VBS and come up with new and exciting ideas for the Crop 2 Help Retreat in September.

Home from my little surgery. All went well, and I feel surprising good. So good that I tried to get hubby to stop by an Estate sale, that started today. To make a long argument short, I will be going back to the estate sale in the morning before I go to work. ( if I still feel this good) Sometimes you have to let them win one. Happy Thursday!

So glad to be back! Although I haven't been gone anywhere, I have been away from my computer. But not by choice. We live in a very small town with a family owned phone company. We have limited access and when our computer goes down, we have to wait until someone comes into the office to check it out. Very Green Acres like.
Saturday I did go to a Estate sale and was transformed into the 70's. Complete with flocked wall paper and a heart shaped sunkin blue bath tub. Chandeliers all over and mirrored walls. I loved the trip through memory lane. But it was too rich for my blood. I did get a few sheets of the left over blue flock wall paper. And a box of doves. I think I see a Christmas project for these two items. I had to pre register on Monday and had to wait for 3 hours for blood work, so I didn't get to the thrift stores, like I wanted to. It has been sooo hot in Alabama the last few weeks that it is impossible to stay outside without having a heat stroke. I watered the flowers in front of the shop this morning and thought I was going to pass out. Our pool water is so hot it is like getting in a warm bath. I am ready for some rain.
We did have a tradegy this weekend. Our cat used up her 9 lives. This is the cat that came up after our old dog went off and died of old age. We didn't even name her, we just called her cat. She has been with us now for about 6 years. She will be missed.

Mother and I are hosting our monthly Bunko game Thursday night and so have been shopping. For decorations, gifts and food. It has been fun.

We are having salads, so I had to try out a few new recipes on the family first.

Mother is making a pasta salad, and a large green salad. I am making a chilled corn salad, Cucumber salad and grape salad. We are having watermelon and popsicle's for dessert. We wanted to have a cool summer meal. It has been 95+ degrees and Thursday it is going to be a few degrees higher. I don't think I will notice a few degrees, cause when it get in the 90's in Alabama, I try to stay in as much as possible. Boy, it has been hot.

I just thought I would share the Chilled Corn Salad with you.

Chilled Corn Salad

1 can whole kernel corn ( drained)

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped

2 tablespoon minced parsley

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 tablespoon oil

1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper ( each)

Combine and chill over night.

Drain and serve over lettuce leaves.

Terry, Lola and I took a mini road trip.
Up at 5 a.m

Out the driveway by 6.

On our way to the Atlanta Antique Flea Market.

Stopped to potty and got scratch offs, won a little! Yeah!!!

Passed some friend on the interstate, waved, stopped and talked.

Three hours to Atlanta, by 10 their time.

Love it, Love it!

Checked out Chippys booth (http://2chippys.blogspot.com/)

Introduced myself to Lulu.

Didn't buy much inside where it was cool.

All the bargains was outside.

A lot of unusual stuff!

A lot I wanted to take home.

But I only got a few things.

I have to remember that I have to make a few bucks on what I put in the shop.
I fell in love with the purse that has forks for the handles.
And the red prisms, love em.
I did get a few things at the Leeds flea mall too.
I will take pics and get them on one day this week.
Drove through a storm, all the way to Leeds.
Stopped at Waffle house for waffles.
It was a good day!
Until

Got home to alittle Daughter Drama.

All will be fine.

Just please say a prayer for her little family.

Computer problems, slow like dial up, pictures take forever to load on blog which means I am having withdrawal from not reading blogs. Mail takes 30 minutes to load, not sure this will even post. Put in new pool liner, got pool up and running, found new leak, ordered part. Celebrated 27th wedding Anniversary this week (June 11th). Shop busy, rearranging, some of the new items I bought last weekend, sold already. Hubby is buying me a new lap top ( used, but new to me) just need to go pick it up. Since that scum bucket stole mine. Can you tell I am still alittle bitter. Storming this morning, can't sleep, up since 5 on a Saturday. Planning on going to Atlanta tomorrow for flea market. Will post ASAP.

I am back from my Yard Sale Trip and it was alot of fun.
This one was a warm up for the "World's Longest Yard Sale in August. It was cloudy on Friday and so we took our sweet time getting to Georgia and good thing, cause their wasn't alot of people set up. We stopped early on Friday and had a nice dinner. Saturday was the hot one. Still there was a breeze, so it wasn't too bad.
Below is pic of our loot. Not bad. Terry got all the gold dishes for $5.00.

It is hard to see the two boxes, but this was my favorite. They are egg boxes. These are boxes that they would ship your ordered eggs. One is metal and the other is wooden. The candle sticks were another good deal at $10.00 for the pair.

These will go home with me, for awhile anyway. I love old marbles.
It was a good trip but it doesn't take 3 days for this one, it is only 90 miles long.

Just wanted to post a picture or two of Toot. He is growing so fast. Trying to slow down and enjoy him alittle more, he is the last one. He is laughing out loud now, and so darn cute. Don't ya think?
