Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!
These are my collection of Hankerchiefs, that all started with the first one being my grandmothers. It is stained because she dipped snuff, but it is a treasure just the same. When I was a child grandmother would fill a empty and cleaned ( I hope ) snuff can with cocoa and sugar for the me to play with. There was also a box of old clothing that we would play dress up . It was so much fun to pretent to be a grown up. I believe I still have one of her snuff cans and a picture of me and sister all dressed up. It was so much fun to come to the country and play.

it's a big shame that handkerchiefs went out of style....the all are so pretty and delicate. I think we should start a group to protect the endangered 'species'.
Great show n tell
Geez... a gal just can't catch a break these days. I still love you though (even on Mondays)!
I Love that you're doing Show & Tell! the hankies are a great way to start!

Jerri, I am still pretending to be a grown up. I'm glad you are doing the show and tell cause I like seeing your stuff - We have similar tastes! I hate that I am missing the crop but how I love that boy of mine! Jennifer

Your hanky collection is beautiful. What a great story to go with it about your grandmother...
Thank you for sharing your show and tell. I enjoyed it.

Those are pretty! My best friend is a quilter and she made a beautiful quilt from her husband's grandmother's lace hankies. Thanks for sharing,
Connie
I think I still have a few old hankies of my mom's---yours are very pretty , and it is commical for me to think about snuff.

I like the hankies, I remember
using them when I was very young.
I liked the valentines boxes of
goodies, great idea to use those
old heart boxes over again!
