       Not too soon, I hope. I am have become one of those people that waits to the last minute to buy Christmas. But I didn't use to be. I use to be finished by August. All wrapped and hid in a closet.
Christmas at the shop has been different the last few years. I missed my decorating buddy. Maybe this year we can decorate again. So Merry Christmas in July!

Went through Selma today on the Hwy 80 yard Sale,

I have family in Selma, and never remember going over the bridge.

Yard Sale was a bust, made it across the whole state and less than 50 yard sales.

Yes, we went to a cabin in Mentone for a well rested few days for my Hubs Birthday.

We had a good time and rested.

My dear hubby has a birthday coming up and when I ask what he wanted....

Early this morning, I was started awake by slamming desk drawers, overhead light in my eyes and mumbling of no so nice words, by a man in his underwear. This man would be my love, my one and only. With that said, his glasses had come apart in his hand as he was wiping them with the hand towel after his shower.  I got up and as soon as my feet hit the floor, I have to go. So in the other room he is still slamming drawers on a mad hunt for the eye glass repair kit. Seems it was my fault that it was not in the same place he put it a year ago. So with sleepy eyes I hunted and hunted and found a small, tiny screwdriver set. Then he wanted some old glasses, I got those. Then he wanted a magnifying glass, as I was looking for that, I heard........I got it!

How was you morning?

I dream all the time!

I dream of projects that I want to complete, I dream of how my day will unfold, I dream of how my week will be. I am a dreamer. I want to do more much more. There is days when I have dreamed up my day and then customers come in and I don't complete my dream until later. Sometime I have lost my MOJO by then and I more on, cause there is no enough time.
I dream of how I want my yard to look and how I want my house to look. I dream on the ride home in the afternoons of what I will complete, but in reality, there is no way anyone could build that fire pit and plant the flowers in 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I think PINTEREST has added to my dreaming. I see the finished project, I pin it and dream of it. Now in reality, will I ever complete all these project? Maybe not but it is fun to dream and at least I try some of them. So it is not a bad thing to be a dreamer.

I didn't wash my hair for 2 days this week,

 

 

I have gone to bed at 9 the last two nights.

didn't get up until after 7 both mornings.

This weekend I experienced a wonderful, relaxing, stressful weekend. On one hand I enjoyed no phone calls, no work at the shop and stress with family .On the other hand,  I did experience another type of stress. Stress being with a friend that I don't really know any more. I love her, enjoy being with her. I prayed a lot this weekend, to keep my mouth shut and not vent, and enjoy the time I have. Thank you Lord for all the women that joined us and made it a great weekend. I met new friends that make me want to piece a quilt more than ever.  Like I need another hobby. Now back to the real world, Monday was filled with doctors appointment, having the oil changed,to Target to get new pillows, a quick stop at Michaels to see if I needed something, Publix for a few things, home, wash a load of clothes, taking Ky to baseball practice, walked, and then back to the pig to get a few more things. Home at 7:30 to eat dinner and dry the clothes I put in washer at 4. Hummm, I kinda wish I was back at the Retreat house......Now to work, so I can relax again. LOL

Shamy Amy ( grandson Ky) just wants you to know it is a beautiful day! Get out and enjoy it! Even if you just sit on the porch and feel the breeze. Peace out!

No No I am not at the beach, And not sure I want to be this week, Spring Break and in the 20's at night and the wind is blowing so hard you can't stand to be out much. But I am sure there are people that booked that Spring Break trip to be at the beach with the family and they are having a lovely time. Me, I like the heat. I enjoyed the beach in November this year but I do like alittle heat. But I enjoy looking at the beautiful sunset at the beach. Happy Spring Break Yall.

Made it through the storm last night, birds chirpping and I have been batting at a huge fly all morning.  But Spring is in the air. I can feel it. I can smell it, I can almost taste it.

The stomach virus has invaded our family and friends. It is a very bad virus. Violent from both ends if you know what I mean. So please, I am praying for this bug to skip me and dear hubby. I am taking precautions and Clorox's everything. If you have it, don't come in my shop, home or try to shake my hand. STAY HOME! If you have been exposed. I beg of you. I  think, the Anticipation of getting this is going to drive me insane. So please be considerate of others.

I had all intention to post yesterday (3-13-13) and life got in the way.

My idea of re-doing rooms in the house has went to the way-side.

My New Years Idea, forgotten by February.

I still have ideas, stay tuned.

Hubby has worked a side job this week and I have been creating alittle.

I saw these two items on Pinterest and had to make them.

I wonder, how many things do we make.

I search and pin and think about it,

but most of them are for the future.

I do have a board that is completed items.

January - Twenty Thirteen

I have made myself a promise this year, a resolution like promise, to create -redo-redecorate or change something in my house each month. So with this said, I believe this month we have been extremely busy. We had a deadline, which is always helpful. Dear Daughter and family moved out of our house last November (2011)  after a 6 year stay.  Until this month, we used this bedroom as a junk room. Most people have Junk drawers, I have Junk rooms. LOL  We washed walls, cleaned carpet, painted furniture, moved all the JUNK into another room and the pictures below show our hard work. I sometimes go into this room and just look. It is the most un-junked room in our house. No clutter, simple and clean. Now on to the next room.......
