Wanted to add alittle color to my church bench on the porch .

So I went by the thrift store yesterday and bought a few pillows. I got most of the fabric at a yard sale last week. I have a weakness for red anything.

And this morning before work I made a few covers. I am loving the one in the back.

Pillows at the Goodwill $ 4.50

Fabric - maybe $2.00

And the best part, I won't feel guilty tossing them, after the Summer season, and they look good!

Had a little in prompt to junkin trip yesterday with Miss Donna.

Checked out the Antique Mall in Leeds.

It is better than it has been in the past.

We found all our goodies on the right side.

The left side just wasted our time.

And if you have ever been, it takes awhile to go through this mall.

Lets just say I got my walk in yesterday.



This is the last of my jars.

This jar is by my sewing machine and holds all the little

pieces of ribbon and lace.

I am sure I will use it one day.

I love my jars and the items I collect in them.

I got a few new ones the last few days.

In my washroom, a jar full of old clothes pins, made into a lamp.

 In my pantry, is where we see more jars today.

And in the flour is a old tea cup.

Just like my grandmother use to use.

Like most grandmothers, they didn't use a measuring cup, they just guessed.

Even on the potting bench there is a jar with sidewalk chalk, for my boys.

I didn't realize I had quite this many jars.

So, another item to collect.

Filling up jars are soooo much fun.

Don't everyone have a jar full of pearls?

Some left from Kindras wedding shower and more added for Cortney's.

I really like the fact that young girls have started wearing pearl again.

At one point pearls was so Lucy and Ethel.

Never find scrabble games at the thrift store, it is because i have come in ahead of you and got them .....HAHAHA  YEEEEE Insert evil laugh....... This is just one of the jars I have!

More jars at the shop and as you may guess I sometimes have alot of time on my hands. So I go through my change drawer and pick out the dates of my grandsons birth, and what the heck mine, Terry's and Jessica's too. Note: I only have 3 penny's. LOL Is there not any 1960 change out there anymore.
