Two sisters

One paints and restores furniture and creates wonderful floral wreaths and arrangements.

The other sister sews.

She has the most beautiful tote bags/ purses, pin cushions, stuffed bunny's and amazing needlework.

Kite Day

We have a family in our community that host Kite Day each year.

It just happened to fall around Olivia's

Birthday, this year.

So I decorated a little table, just for her.

This is what I wanted to spotlight.

Check out the center piece, all made with paper products.

It took all of a few hours to put together and very little cash.

Reality Check

Sometimes Life is messy. Our Life has been in a "Drama" state for many years. And it had became a part of life. We did not let anyone into our life, you might see what was going on. Hubby and I have retreated to our room to give them a sense of family. I am struggling a bit this weekend. Trying to cope with the Reality of our life. The change . We have so many responsibilities, each one pulling in different directions. Trying to cover up that our family life is in turmoil, isn't easy. I am a emotional wreak, in need of prayer. I am not one to talk about my problems, I would rather hold them in. So please don't ask, it is hard enough to write this. Just pray for us, we alone praying has kelp us a float. But today I am asking for my prayer warrior to stand tall and join us in praying.

The ones below are made from mardi gras beads and paint and the wire baskets. Great craft for a rainy weekend....

Oh, the boys really are enjoying being outside the last week. We have the perfect yard and as you can tell it is full of toys and fun stuff. Ky is playing T-ball again this year, so Malik works him out almost every afternoon.

He is such a good big brother. ( sometimes)

Toot is still too little to join in, so he hangs back with Nanny and we cheer them on.

ESTATE SALE

It was a great one.

The lady was a collector of everything.

I over heard people talking about her going to sales and Thrift stores often.

(Daily)

I went back on Saturday afternoon and got more. Not big expensive stuff, but things I like.

It seems she liked Christmas, and I got many boxes of ornaments and more Santa's too.

I intend to sell the pins, one day. But for now I took them home. Much much more to come. I over heard, there will be another sale in May, seems this is just the surface of her goodies. Does this mean she was a Horder? It was all clean and neat. Is this me in years to come. I tend to take alot home and pack it away for that one day. One day I will redecorate this room and use it...One day I will wear this pin....One day I can sell this after I enjoy it awhile....One day......

Spring is in the air!

And this weekend was beautiful.

I talked Hubby into riding around.

Although, we needed to cut the grass, weed the flower beds, paint the outdoor furniture, prepare to start up the pool, there is a few loads of clothes that need to be done, the car needs a good cleaning and much much more.

We decided to jump in the car, drop the top and ride.

Ride with the wind.

I, so enjoy my car. I still enjoy riding with the top down. I believe I will always love it!

I love the color combination of red and turquoise.

Spring is in full bloom in Alabama.

Yesterday at 5,

just after work,

it was 78 degrees and beautiful.

I dropped the top and took the long way home.

I love, Love , Love this weather.

I might just leave town after work today.

I get off at 2 today.

And the sky has the beautiful turquoise color, and I am going to look for red birds.

My laptop has a virus.

So I am working from Hubbys, and I like it.

But he does not have any pics on his.

I, on the other hand have many. Ready for future post and many from past post.

And he has the pictures that was on his computer to begin with. Doesn't these tulips scream,

"SPRING" !

I just got the text, my laptop is fixed. No more virus. It was a virus protector that had attached its self to my computer. Wanting me to buy the protection. I already have a virus protector. And how can they get away with that. I will not buy your protection. You are a virus bully. You will not bully me into buying your protection. I am not scared!
