But it is $79.00

For a Shower Curtain.

I just can't do it!

SO now the hunt begins for a cheaper shower curtain, but after I seen this, I don't know if I can be happy with another.

Well, it is all over but the packing up. Christmas was more relaxing this year. And I enjoyed it more. But with that said I am moving on. On to a New year, a new start, to organizing and taking back out house and life. I want to organize my whole house, I want to take better picture, maybe take a few everyday, of anything and everything, After all, I can delete. I am always going to go back on a diet and lose more weight. I want to organize and clean out the basement. I have furniture in there we bought several years ago and it just needs painted or cleaned up. I want to start a art journal again this year. I even ask and got water colors for Christmas. I need to pick my WORD for the year.  So I have  a week to decide. On and by the way........Jennifer Tidwell the picture is for you......LOL

So I wanted to experience the boys making and decorating a gingerbread house. But I did not want to bake gingerbread. So I bought graham crackers and hot glued them together and then let them decorated the houses. It wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be, but what is. Toot ate all the candy. Or tried it and stuck it back in the bowls. Mikai wanted his to look just like his older brothers and Malik wanted to cover the whole thing with candy. They got bored and wanted to leave and to tell you the truth I wanted them to leave too before it was over. LOL It was fun coming up with different candy and found cotton candy that was white for snow. So will be decorate them next year? Will this become a tradition? Ask me in November 2012.

Got a new point and shoot camera for my birthday, Guess I need to read instructions, got alot of these pictures. LOL

A few Years ago, this was the tree in the shop.

I had bought 4 truck loads of bottles from a man that dug bottles in the old dumps. It was a hobby.

I loved this tree.

Funky * Junky * and really Cool.

Last night was  the Christmas Open House at the shop.

It rained and it was cold and yucky.

But they came.

Lots came.

Lots ate.

Lots had a good time!!!

Last weekend was full.

To Nashville to Jenni Sale and to Franklin Tenn for Christmas open house.

Sunday, we enjoyed Choir Christmas Party.

Dirty Santa and lots of Laughs.

Now I am on relax mode.

Ready to enjoy

this Wonderful Season.

If you know me at all, you know this is the most fabulous time of the year.

There is not a enough time in the day for me to get it all done.

I need more energy and about 5 more hours in a day.

I planned on about 10 or 15 more things to do before our open house on Monday night.

I love Pinterest and Mamie Jane's blog.
I get so many ideas.

So have a great week, I will be crafting like crazy.....

Maybe I will remember to take pictures.

Well, it is all over but the Turkey.

Tomorrow we will go to Mothers for Thanksgiving.

I will be taking Friday off too.

Gonna try and shop alittle.

Clean alittle

and

Cook alittle.

Saturday I will be cooking for my family, after the ballgame.

You know, THE game.

Try to put up a tree or two.

Get ev eryone together to take our Christmas card photo.

Church , then DON meeting, and Christmas play practice.

Relaxing weekend, not in this house.

I just had to make a ornament out of them. All different and so easy.

Remember- Hot glue is your friend, and hang on to old Christmas cards.

I had to laugh.

I was telling that DD had moved in about 2 months ago and I want my house back.

Isn't this funny, since they just moved out about a week ago.

If you had told me back in 2005 that it would be this long before they had a place of their own, I would have committed myself.

Cammy came home today. I had to send it home with Jeanette and we met for my Birthday Lunch and Shopping. And BOY! did we shop. I am pooped. But alot has happened in the last week. I have had a wonderful Birthday with many many friends wishing  me a Happy Day!

I got flowers from someone who just signed it as I LOVE YOU!

I went to Hartsle Antique Christmas Open House on Saturday.

I got a teal Pumpkin and a stack of wasp nest and lots of goodys.

DD and family has moved out and I am trying to get my house in order.

There is not enough time in the day to do what I want to do.

I want to decorate for Christmas since I went to the Christmas Open House.

It has been a busy week, I love it!

Stay tuned for a special gift within a days.

Our family, plays dirty Santa every year.

It has got expensive and boring.

So last year I drop the $ from $25 to 10

And be creative.

It was interesting.

Malik got $10 worth of quarters taped in duck tape.

So funny and can you imagine how long it took him to peel them off.

This year, June will host us and I hope she follows suit.

I have thought of a few things, and thought you might want to try something new.

1.Share your favorite items ( I like to read, chocolate and popcorn)

2. Share you Christmas goodies. ( I enjoy making sugared pecans)

3.I love this "Our Family does" sign. You could make it on a smaller scale and frame it!

4. You can create a needlepoint towel.

I think we all could Needlepoint HO! HO! HO!

5.How about something Recycled, like the Salt and Pepper shaker Snowmen. Recycled and Cute!

Twenty eleven

eleventh month

first day of the eleventh month

Can you believe it?

Tomorrow is my Birthday.

I will be 51.

In November  1959, my mother was getting discouraged about concieving.

She went to the Doctor and he told her she was going to have a baby.

And to go home tell Jerry ( my dad) and celebrate.

They did, and I was born November of 1960.

Yes,  I am a 12 month baby,

You guess it, Mom was not expecting but did relax enough to concieve.

And 12 months later, I was born.

So tomorrow I will be

51 years old

18615 days old

446760 hours old

Now that is depressing.



Today is the last day of the month. I have tried to spread the word.

For many years, no one  near me had breast cancer. Then a few years ago, I had a good friend and my mother in law, within a few months of each other.

I love the fact that I can say both survived. Both are still here. So they can walk the pink stairs to this house and sit by the pink lake and enjoy the view.

October was a really busy month, and this is my month to have a mammogram, I will make an appointment in November.  Have you? I will go with, I will hold your hand, It is not all that bad, I hate it too. But it won't last long. Please, I don't won't another person I know to have to deal with this terrible cancer.
